Evils of Censorship
Having recently had a post over at another site deleted by the admins who apparently didn’t agree with my point of view, I realized once again how much I hate censorship.
As an example of why it’s bad, I bring you this Jimmy Kimmel clip, which clearly demonstrates that censorship can make things appear to be what they aren’t.

Apparently I don’t have a flash player so I can’t watch this video. I will search for this video on youtube though because I don’t know what a flash player is to install one. I’ll be back to comment

So guess what? I got these comment update emails in my email because I’m *awesome* and subscribed to comments.
And then I remembered that when I went to youtube to look up the video, I found a whole bunch of those Jimmy Kimmel videos and spent the rest of my day laughing hysterically and I forgot to come back with my comment.
And so, while I don’t remember what kind of witty comment I would have made had I made it when I was supposed to, I will tell you this : censorship sucks. But Jimmy Kimmel is hilarious.

I have no problem watching the video. The funny part is that I’m actually watching “Sesame Street” right now with my son.
This is the first time I’ve seen this. And it cracked me up.

Whall isn’t crazy, the video really wasn’t there. I installed a new plugin and that fixed it.
